Website Accessibility

The Gilroy Historical Society is committed to providing digital accessibility for individuals who may visit our website.

We acknowledge that certain consumer-facing websites may be considered “places of public accommodation” in the United States under The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (as amended) and applicable state laws. As such, these websites must undertake efforts to have their websites comply with prevailing accessibility standards, namely the  Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) which outlines requirements for applicable websites to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

We are currently undertaking reasonable efforts to have this website provide for improved accessibility and will continue to monitor the WCAG requirements for additional guidance.

If you have questions or concerns about our website accessibility, please contact us.

Please note that the museum building at 195 5th Street is not fully accessible, due to its status as a historic building. Please call (408) 846-0446 for additional information.
